Guess what… I have a cold, and its kicking my ass. This is definitely the worst time for me to be sick, but in all reality it’s never a good time to get sick. This is just a terrible week, because I have a lot going on with the homework front, and with work, not only that but this week we are having a red and blue themed gathering at our house tomorrow night for the election shizzle along side a hobo wine and cheese party this Saturday. I will very happy once this election is over because like the next person I am burnt out on it. Not only that but some how I slipped up and my phone number got out to all the different campaigns and my phone has been ringing off the hook like crazy with people calling me, telling me to go vote. shit is getting obnoxious.
Today, I also received a phone call from my store manager Dan asking me to take a promotion as a Bakery Manager at a Longmont store. I told him I needed to think about it and would chat with him tomorrow to let him know my decision. It will seriously make my drive which is already about 40 miles round trip 64 miles round trip and to me it is totally not worth it. The pay increase is nowhere near enough to make that long journey each day. Plus starting as a manager in a new department is going to be a struggle in itself as I will have a long road ahead of me to get it running smoothly. Don’t know if I want that stress these days.
I am really hoping to kick this bug I have come down with asap, as being sick turns me into the biggest pussy. Especially since now I don’t have a long term girlfriend to baby my ass to get through it.
Anyways bitches, go vote! The polls will be open from 7am-7pm so get to it if you have not already put in your ballot. As old as this election is getting, it is a very important one and I will be very disappointed to be stuck with the McCain/Palin ticket for the next four years.
