Set sail to sea, but pulled off course…

See that Matt Damon clip where he is talking politics? Mainly that of how scary and pretty fucked we are if McCain and his running mate step into the office. As he put it, it’s like a bad Disney movie and he is absolutely correct. I really hope we step up and work towards something better then the current direction we are allowing our country to move in. I mean seriously how is a party going to label the person it’s running against as inexperienced and then pull out of their asses someone who has a probable chance of stepping into the oval office because the president dies that has been a governor for two years and a Mayor of a small town in Alaska. I am burnt out on politics, and that we are just focusing on getting votes and appealing to people by showing them nothing that is going to help our country dig itself out of the hole we have placed it in. Why can’t we as people, see what is wrong with our country and put a person in who we believe is going to actually help get it on track. Not just toss someone in because they have a female running mate that can appeal to the women’s vote or all those Clinton supporters that are pissed that Obama didn’t pick her as his running mate. How does that aspire to any of our needs as a country? The sad thing is that we feed this game of politics and are the major problem when it comes to actually getting someone into office that can really make a difference and do what is absolutely best. Either candidate is a scary choice, and this is because politics creates people who simply just start spouting shit to try and get people to vote for them. So I say if this is how we are going to continue to choose who leads our country, then I my friends am voting for Peyton Manning. He is more than just a leader, he is a game manager.
